Tingling in my left forefinger and thumb when I turn or tilt my head to the left

Tingling in my left forefinger and thumb when I turn or tilt my head to the left. I have no constant pain only when I turn my head.

The thumb and forefinger belong very specifically to the C6 dermatome. There is a nerve in your neck being irritated, probably by a worn uncovertebral joint of Luschka, from an old whiplash.

Get some xrays, including oblique views and start hunting for a highly recommended local chiropractor. Talk your family and friends, and medical doctor.

Don't neglect it because arm pain is hideous and the weakness that develops may cause permanent wasting in your triceps muscles.
