I have TOS and the right arm is affected. I live in Pa and want to avoid surgery.
Hello Dave,
Firstly let's be sure of the diagnosis. Do you
1. Have increased tingling in the arm when you raise it above your head?
2. Have a positive Adson's test. Loss of the radial pulse when you turn your head, look up and take in a deep breath?
3. Have a negative upper limb tension test?
If you haven't seen a chiropractor in your area, that's where I'd start. But do ask first if they are up on TOS? I for one didn't learn about it in school.
