pain in groin effects walk

Pain in my right groin area. Effects my walking, hurts. If I am not walking it doesn't hurt.

Hello,
I need more information.
Your age?
Pull your knee to the chest, and then towards the opposite shoulder. Stiff? Sore?
Back pain? Does bending in any direction produce pain in the groin area?

Let me know.

I'M a 76 year old women. Pulling the knee to the chest does cause pain.

Then you probably either have an impingement syndrome which is very treatable, or arthritis which may be more difficult depending on how advanced it is.

If it's seriously troubling you, get an x-ray of the pelvis taken.

Let me know.
