Numbness in hands, feet and upper back pain
by Tommy

Are upper back pain and finger numbness and tingling related?
Yes, Tommy they may be but we cannot assume it, especially if it's affecting your feet as well.
The C5 nerve supplies both parts of the hand and the muscles of the midback.
Start by trying to identify which fingers are affected and what movements if any increase or relieve the tingling and numbness in your hands and feet.
If it's affecting both limbs then it's likely to be something central in nature; it's a puzzle for an experienced neurologist.
