Pain, popping sounds and a watery noise in my hip demands immediate evaluation.

About a month ago I was at the park with my brother playing soccer, and I was kicking the ball then all of a sudden I heard this crack and my hip had immediate pain. I didn't go home when it happened I stayed and kick the ball and worked off the pain but it never went away, then every time I would walk I could feel it pop and it would also make this gross watery noise.

I haven't went to the doctors yet because I can handle the pain even though it hurts like heck knowing my parents they won't believe me so they why I don't bother with them. Now most of the time I walk it cracks, pops and makes that gross watery sound, the one time I was lying down and I had to get up to go to my room and I couldn't move because my hip was in so much pain. Well my question is what could of happened? And should I go see a doctor??

Hello Chloe,
It's absolutely vital you immediately see an orthopaedist, or chiropractor who specialises in hips. An x-ray and careful evaluation are very important.

There are several hip conditions that present like this; ignored you can have a problem for the rest of your life.

No sport at the moment, and no running. Are you limping?

Don't be an ostrich; talk to your parents.

Let me know please when you have a diagnosis, and if possible a copy of the x-ray, sent to Contact.
