Tingling only on the top of my scalp

I have been having tingling on the top of my scalp. It feels tingly and at times like something is crawling on my scalp. This has been going on for a couple of months and have had blood work and an MRI which all came back fine. I was wondering if this could be a pinched nerve or something that a chiropractor could figure out.

Thank You for your time and help.

Hello,
Frankly, I'm not sure. The area is supplied by the greater occipital nerve, which emerges from the upper neck.

In theory, yes, this is a chiropractic problem. If you had tingling in the arm or leg, I would have said very definitely, the chances are high that it's coming from your spine.

The problem is that it's most infrequent that it happens on the scalp.

I'd see a chiropractor, and let them examine your neck and see if there's an obvious problem.

It's good that you've had the other tests to rule out more serious disease.

Let me know how you get on. I hope this contributes.
