tingle in both arms from shoulder to my fingers

by Lori
(New Mexico)

I wake up at night with tingling in both my arms from my shoulders to my fingers, it takes about 30 to 45 mins to go away with that i have some shortness of breath but just till the tingling goes away. This has been going on for about maybe six months. The Doctors cant tell me what it is, I had lots of test done and my Doctor can't tell me why this is. Can someone please help me.

Hello Lori,
There really are many possible causes from something relatively simple like a lower neck subluxation or cervical rib, to MS and other nasties.
Have you been carefully and thoroughly examined? X-rays of your neck? Scans? Are there any reflex, skin sensation or muscle changes? Has your doc examined you? Or just said: "I dont' know". If the latter, then it's time to ask for a second opinion.
That could be your local chiropractor, or a neurologist...
Doing any neck and shoulder exercises?
Let us know how you get on.
