Dizziness 24/7

The dizziness started 3 years ago; I feel it 24/7. I also get what feels like a headache and just a weird feeling, a little out of balance.

Also I have seen the doctor; seems they can’t figure out what is wrong. I'm tired of feeling like this.

Hello Sharon,
Sorry about the delay in answering.

I presume basics like BP and raised blood sugar have been tested.

And secondly tests for vertigo should have been done. The Hallpike Dix test and squirting cold water in your ear; cases of long standing like this should really be done by a neurologist.

It can come from your neck, but it's the one area in which chiropractors need to be extra careful.

Then scans to test if the vertebral and carotid arteries are clean; blood getting through to the brain.

This is all really medical stuff; I would push for more before going to your local chiropractor. Like I said, we need to be wary with the dizzy patient.

When all else fails, get back to basics. Take a walk every day, make sure you are eating healthily and take a holiday.

I hope this contributes.
