When waking up I recently feel (since 3 days ago) tingling, numbness and heaviness in my (upper side) top left arm from elbow downwards and gets tired sooner.

Last year x-ray for LS Spine showed left discrete deviation of the lumbar vertebrates bodies & straight column noted in lateral; otherwise heights of vertebrates & discs spaces are maintained. Some days during sleep I suffer from dull pain lower back and ribs. Please could you help me get over it!
Thanks

Hello Nabil,
Firstly, as far as your lower back is concerned, may I encourage you to start doing a series of lower back exercises every morning before arising from bed. In our navigation bar on the left of Chiropractic Help, you'll find them. They take less than two minutes.

The part of your arm you describe belongs to the C6 dermatome. Does it also go into the fingers? Precisely which ones?

You make no mention of neck pain, so it's possible that the median nerve is being trapped between the two bellies of a muscle in your arm, but then you would also feel the tingling in your middle and ring fingers.

Do movements of your neck not provoke tingling in the arm?

Let me know.

Dr B
