Strange feeling in left jaw bone and left collar bone simultaneously
I have had an annoying feeling in my left jaw bone in line with my ear, and at the same time in my left collarbone area. The two do not create a single path...they are two separate feelings that occur. Called my cardiologist and his office suggested that I see my primary care doctor first...even though I have a PPO. Got any ideas?
I agree, these are probably two different conditions, especially as they are "separate feelings."
And frankly there are a host of possibilities, so the advice to see your primary medical doctor is the right one.
They could be "chiropractic" conditions like something related to the TMJ ear pain but it could just as easily be work for a dentist.
The second feeling could be related to the AcromioClavicular Joint but the apex of the lung sits right up there behind the collarbone. Smoker? Cough? And there are lymph nodes that lurk there.
Use you common sense about this. Start with your medical doctor as advised, rule out the "medical" conditions, and if nothing shows up, find a good chiropractor. Find a good chiropractor is your next stop. Perhaps it's Tietzes syndrome.
