Femoral nerve pain with legs swelling

by Susan
(Maricopa AZ Pinal County )

Severe, left groin with very marked left leg swelling. L3,4,5 injury as well as a left sacrum fracture. Very concerned with the leg swelling as well as severe left groin pain.

After consultation and exam by specialist, was given Lyrica and told to lay on my back with legs elevated for 4 weeks.

Hello Susan,
I need more information to give a cogent reply. You've obviously had considerable trauma; is there clearly no fracture of the pubic rami, often difficult to visualise. If you press quite hard on the bones in the groin is it very tender?

Also your age, weight, general health and so on.
