Burning and tingling in both arms, shoulder, and back with lower back pain

by Heather
(Usa)

For about 2 weeks I have been experiencing lower back pain that comes and goes as well as tingling and burning in my back, shoulders and upper arms. The tingling does not travel all the way to my fingers. It is worrisome and I am not sure where to start. I do suffer from anxiety and feel that the unknown is making the anxiety worse. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hello Heather,
When you have symptoms in both arms, I always recommend first an opinion from a neurologist. Chiropractors treat on a daily basis patients with these symptoms in one arm, but both is fairly rare.

What's needed is a good examination. Don't just accept anti inflammatories. You want a diagnosis.

You're right; our worst fears are about the unknown. Do it; soon.
