Back pain Thoracic spine

Doc I have had thoraic back pain for 4 yrs now. I have c67 disc herniation. Could this be the cause. I don't want surgery. I have had lumbar & cervical decompressive therapy. 32 weeks (3x/wk). And 3 epidurals. Can't get rid of the pain. The pain is very bad with pressure applied in the middle of my back. So have a hard time sitting back and sleeping . What should I do?

Yes, it certainly could be radiating from your neck, but equally it could be a quite separate and very treatable problem.

If pressure applied to your back is painful, then suspect a midback problem, rather than a radiation from your neck.

You've had a huge amount of treatment, 100 in all? I think it's time to consult an experienced and thorough chiropractor. Starting talking to friends and family, your family doc... this sounds like the sort of problem that chiropractic could help you with. It all starts with X-rays and a thorough examination.

Let us know in a couple of months how you are getting on.
