back pain after bending with dehydrated discs

Back pain after bending with dehydrated discs is the prelude to radiating leg pain if you don't make some changes.

Dear Sir have a good day; I got sudden back pain about one month ago when I was bending down; the pain continues since that date.

I had an MRI AND AS shown in my report that I have disc bulging at L3-4 AND L4-5 with degenerative changes and dehydration; I really am so depressed because I am still young (31 years).

I hope if you can advise some useful exercise I can do at home or any medication to re hydrate my discs ..... thank you very much for this great website
sincerely
Mr Ameer

Hello Mr Ameer,
There's no need to be depressed; you make no mention of leg pain, but that awaits you if you don't make some changes.

What's desperately needed is some gentle back exercises EVERY morning before getting out of bed; you'll find them at C-H. Never miss.

And now for a period you must sit much less, don't bend and be careful not to sneeze or cough.

If after a week or two of this regimen you are not improving you must look for a local chiropractor.

Good luck,

Dr B
