Tingling / numbness in arms and hands
I've recently woken up to arms and hands thayt tingle or feel numb. My hands get very cold for awhile then retun to normal.
I'm 57 -good wieight -practice Yoga-and walk(have done so most of my adult life.
There is a history of High Blood Pressure in the family.
I take 81 asperin daily and do not eat red meat or cheese(not very often)
Eat a healthy diet-broiled or baked chicken or fish , some pasta-always with green veggies and eat lots of greens and fruits.
I -like many have been feeling somewhat stressed out and depressed-not regularly but when I'm overtired-which I am,(it is the holiday season)
Also was a resident of New Orleaqns before and after Katrina(1ived there 11 years) did OK-house didn't flood but much psychological trauma.
Could this be Blod Pressure or Raynaud's Syndrome. My brother recently found out he has it.
Thank you
Hello Pati,
81 aspirin per day? Surely not! But how many? And what other medication?
I very much doubt this anything directly to do with blood pressure or Raynaud's. In the latter, your fingers actually go very snow-white for a few minutes, before changing to red and blue. Do you have that?
It sounds like your diet is good, and you exercise.
So... do have any neck pain?
Neurological symptoms like tingling in arms and hands must always be carefully evaluated. I recommend you start with your doctor.
Don't get me wrong, and don't be offended, but I have the feeling you are intelligent and well-educated, yet your grammar and spelling are appalling. Is that a side-effect of medication you are taking, or related to the numbness and tingling, or just... laziness?
See your GP.
