Tingling in right arm and hand

by Agatha
(India)

Tingling in right arm and hand

Am 39, female, work at the computer for about 10 to 12 hours a day though not at a stretch. I have been experiencing tingling and cramps in my right hand and arm for over a month. It is severe as soon as i wake up in the morning. It also happened when i took a nap. thought it had to do something with my sleeping position. I tried sleeping on my left side, but didn't notice much difference. My hand feels tired and exhausted and a strange feeling. Earlier the tingling disappeared after a while, but now it persists all the time. Diabetes and Blood pressure is ruled out. Am quiet nervous about it. please advise.

Dear Agatha,
In which fingers is the tingling? Do you have any neck pain?

Is there anything you can do to increase the tingling? Any swelling in the fingers?
