Does this cause tingling in the face? I lift my right arm over me head and my arm goes numb and burns. But I've also been having tingling in my face.

Hello Brandy,
Tingling in the face is not associated with neck pain usually, however the sensory nucleus of the cranial nerve V that supplies the face is found in the upper neck. So, yes, perhaps. Also it may be associated with faulty calcium metabolism I believe, so have your thyroid and parathyroid glands checked, especially if the lips are affected.

The numbness and tingling in your arm when you lift it above your head points to a condition called a Thoracic Outlet Syndrome. You can find it using the search function at Chiropractic Help. There are numerous possible causes of TOS but the most common is a fixated first rib; the treatment of choice is a chiropractic adjustment.

If you are a smoker, have a chest xray taken with special emphasis on the apex of the lung.

The test for TOS is known as Adson's test. It's not an easy test to interpret unless the examiner does it regularly.

Let me know how you get on. I hope this contributes.
