TINGLING IN ARMS AND HANDS

What exercises can I do to help the tingling in my left lower arm and thumb? It started a few days ago and is now a little more persistent. It also involved a sharp pain last night when I was trying to lift something in a rather awkward position with my left arm only. Thank you.

First one has to establish the cause and that would involve an examination. If it included the index finger then I'd be pretty sure it was coming from your neck.
If it was in the first 3-4 fingers I'd be pretty sure of the carpal tunnel. But the thumb alone... only a careful examination will find out where the problem is.
I recommend you start looking for a local thorough and conscientious chiropractor who will examine you. Ask friends and family, even your GP. Let me know...
