pain in upper trapezius

by lisa
(QLD)

xray shows uncovertebral arthritis.

I have fairly constant tearing pain in upper trapezius area.

Hello Lisa,
That mid to low cervical degenerative change, whilst significant, may be a smoke screen. If you are getting suboccipital pain then it's more likely to be an upper cervical subluxation that is causing your pain.
It's not usually arthritic, and often not too much abnormal is seen on x-ray.

Prod around in your neck. Where do YOU think the problem is?

Maybe time to see a chiropractor.
