pain in shoulder and right arm

Right shoulder down to upper right arm hurts for 1 week now. I experience tingling and numbness sometimes. Do i need to go to a doctor or just ignore it?

Hello Mary,
I don't believe it necessary to rush off to the doctor or chiropractor for every little pain. Often they will go away of their own accord.

The exception is when it radiates down the arm or leg - then it's more serious.

Do movements of your shoulder hurt? And your neck?

There are many possible causes, but often the first rib is the problem because a subluxation affects both the artery and the nerves to your arm. Only a careful examination will find the source of the problem.

Yes, see your doctor. And a chiroprator, if you can find one. Better than pills.
