Numbness and tingling in buttocks right thigh groin and back of left leg bottom of right foot

Can these symptoms be related to this MRI?

Hello Amanda,
Understand that because I'm unable to examine, you are getting at best an educated guess, based on 37 years in practice.

Also, your history is non existent; if you want a serious answer, you must give me details.

My guess is that there are probably two different things going on in your lower back and pelvis. Probably a hip condition on the right, and a sciatica on the left.

Pull your knee to the chest. Is the right much tighter, or painful in the groin?

Do the Slump test for sciatica; is it much tighter in the left leg?

Disc protrusions in the midback are rare. Has there been trauma? Because it is reaching towards the cord it could produce bizarre symptoms lower down, including those you mention.

Like I said, at best a guess. Rather trust qualified people around you who know what they are looking for; and what's not expected.
