Neck, spinal ,and back muscle pain. Have been diagnosed with dysautonomia?

I am a 32 year old woman. I have been diagnosed with dyautonomia which in my case is causing low blood pressure and blood pooling in lower extermities. Along with the symptoms that specific condition causes I have been experiencing neck pain (which I was recently told I had no curve in my neck it was straight) to add: my father has DDD. I have only had a xray of the neck area also a Mri of neck, but this discomfort has now spread to my middle back along with the muscles. The pain is worse with movement, sitting, and walking and feels like it becomes tightening pain. I have recently had numbness and tingling in hands only with elevating them on the outer thumb/pointer/middle fingers and was completely gone within a day. So I am curious what direction to take with these ongoing problems? Also could spinal issues cause autonomic problems? Thank You Hello Melissa, Oh yes, spinal issues can certainly cause autonomic problems. In fact perhaps one of the main causes. But it remains unresearched how effective chiropratic manipulation is for dysautonomia.
You certainly have spinal issues. That loss of the curve (lordosis) in the neck will certainly cause DDD if uncorrected. It points to an old whiplash injury, perhaps a fall or car accident.
That tingling in the first three fingers is the beginning of carpal tunnel syndrome, and the fact that it's brought on by elevating your arms points to a first rib syndrome.
Punch Carpal tunnel syndrome and Thoracic Outlet syndrome into the Search this site facillity at Chiropractic help.
Gather all your Xrays and scans, write up a case history as accurately as you can, and start looking for a conscientious thorough chiropractor in your neck of the woods.
Stand less, and when you stand, keep moving, march on the spot. If you start to get a varicose ulcer, I recommend an ointment called Melladerm. Start taking a walk every day. It's Spring, smell the roses, talk to God! Turn the telly off!
I hope this has contributed.
