Left Hand/Ring & Pinkie Finger Tingling w/Aches

TINGLING IN ARMS AND HANDS

Hello,

These fingers have been aching on my left hand for months now, and I decided to google and find out what it might be before I see my doctor. The pain does not constant or occur through-out the day, but does wake me up sometimes at night and it does bother me when I get up every morning.

BTW, I work on a computer all day for 8-hrs multi-tasking between two systems.

Any ideas or thoughts.? Is this possibly carpaltunnel symptoms.?

Also any comments would be very much appreciated.

Thanky you.
Hello Suzzette,
No, you definitely don't have carpal tunnel syndrome. See the diagrams above.

The ring finger and pinkie are classically from the C8 nerve root in your neck. Neglected, those fingers will start to go numb, and the fingers will become weak.

I recommend you get some X-rays of your neck, including "obliques" which show the foramen where the nerve emerges.

Start to talk to friends and family, even your doctor about a competent, thorough chiropractor in your area. This is something we deal with on a daily basis.

Let me know how you get on.
