coccyx massage

What can I do as a massage Therapist to help a client that has had coccyx pain for several years and nothing else has helped. Besides relaxing the surrounding muscles, is there something I can do to provide some relief? Hello Angel, Probably the single most important thing you can do for them is to get them sitting on some form of donut. It takes the physical weight when sitting off the coccyx. However, that alone won't help stubborn cases. Some chiropractors will treat a coccyx, sometimes internally, and that I would assume you can't do.
Get them on a donut, do your best and as in all cases, my clinic too, if they're not getting better, refer them to where they can get help.
