CARPAL TUNNEL SYNDROME Tingling in the thumb first second and half of the ring finger
CARPAL TUNNEL SYNDROME What could this condition be and why is there pain in the tricep area and severe enough to wake me up and or prevent me from sleeping? The Median nerve supplies exactly the distribution you describe. You almost certainly suffer from Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, a condition which we describe as a "double-crush" syndrome. The Median nerve is being strongly irritated in two or more places, typically the wrist and the forearm, or the wrist and the Scalene Triangle in the neck, or sometimes other places too.
What's needed is a careful and thorough examination of these areas. Addressing only one of them, say by operating on the wrist, or by manipulating only the first rib, often gives at best mediocre results.
Start looking for a good chiropractor.
I hope this has contributed.
